Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy died in a collision at Beachy Head on Friday evening, 26 June.
The collision, involving a blue VW Golf and a white VW Polo, happened near a layby by Shooters Bottom car park at Beachy Head just before 9.30pm.
Sadly, a passenger in one of the cars, a boy, aged 17 from Eastbourne, was confirmed deceased at the scene. Two other men in the car, a 19-year-old man from Polegate and a 21-year-old man from Hellingly, were seriously injured.
The driver of the other car, a man aged 21, from Eastbourne, was also seriously injured.
Detective Sergeant Ian Foxton, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident and are thoughts are with those involved and their families.
“We are aware there were a number of people in the area at the time of the collision and we would ask anyone who hasn’t spoken to us or has any video or dashcam footage to get in touch. Please email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting Operation Nashville.”
