Now in women’s football, Lewes exited the Fa Women’s Cup after losing 1-0 to Crystal Palace in the third round, with The Rooks conceding late in the first half, and were unable to tie the game up in front of a packed Dripping Pan crowd.
Finally in the men’s rugby, and there was nothing to split Crowborough with the Beccehamian side they sit level with in the league, as they drew 24-24, while Heathfield & Waldron earned a dominant 50-19 victory over Cranbrook, as Uckfield lost 22-7 to Crowborough 2nd’s.
