Body of missing Hailsham woman has been found

Angela was reported missing by police this week. Police have now said her body was found near Eastbourne.

A statement from Sussex Police on Saturday, November 16 read: “Sadly, the body of a woman has been found near Eastbourne and it is confirmed to be 49-year-old Angela, reported missing from Hailsham.”

"Angela’s next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time.

"There are no suspicious circumstances, and the coroner has been informed.

"We would like to thank all those who supported during the search for Angela.”
