Wear it Pink day is an event ran by charity Breast Cancer Now
Uckfield Divas Womens Institute have had the brilliant idea of turning the High Street pink on Friday 18th October which is "Wear it Pink Day"
It has the backing of Uckfield's Mayor Karen Bedwell and would be a brilliant way to raise awareness and raise funds for the Breast Cancer Now Charity
Davina Lloyd of the Uckfield Divas said: "Breast Cancer Now have told us this could be a first, that no other High St has attempted what we are attempting"
There is also a coffee morning on the 18th October at the Civic Centre
