Lewes District Council's Armed Forces Champion, Councillor Sharon Davy, attended the Queen's Garden Party on May 18.
She said: "It was an honour to be invited to the Queen’s Garden Party in my role as a Lewes District Councillor.
"It also gave me the opportunity of meeting many members of the armed forces and thank them for all that they do to protect our freedom and safety. A very special occasion to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year."
