Driver sadly dies 11 days after A26 collision

A woman has sadly died from the injuries she sustained in a collision 11 days earlier.

59-year-old Pamela Chadwick, from Seaford, was driving a grey Suzuki Vitara which collided with a silver Kia Venga on the A26 at Beddingham around 11.24pm on Saturday 18 July.

Her next of kin have received specialist support from officers, who are now seeking witnesses to the incident.

The Kia driver, a 39-year-old man from Dover, sustained serious injuries and has since been discharged from hospital.

He has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and bailed until 30 October, pending further enquiries.
