Fire service to hold charity car wash at Eastbourne fire station

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is hosting a charity car wash at Eastbourne Fire Station on Saturday, 11 April 2026.

Firefighters and fire cadets will be washing cars for local residents in exchange for a voluntary donation.

• Location: Eastbourne Community Fire Station, Whitley Road, Eastbourne, BN22 8LA
• Cost: Small voluntary donation 

💡 Supported Charities

The funds raised from the mucky motors at this event will be split between two causes:

• East Sussex Cadets Units: Supporting local young fire cadets.
• The Fire Fighters Charity: Providing physical rehabilitation, psychological support, recuperation, and 24/7 advice lines for serving and retired fire personnel and their families. 

Note: All car wash events are subject to change or cancellation at short notice due to operational fire emergencies.
