It takes place on Saturday 30 April 10am – 4pm – Weald Hall, Civic Centre Uckfield
Uckfield Town Council is working with local businesses to host Uckfield’s first environmentally-friendly exhibition focused on green initiatives and technologies, for the home and outdoors. The event has been organised by Uckfield Town Council to bring together the numerous agencies and organisations working in the area to introduce alternative technologies.
Residents will be able to see and speak to experts on subjects from electric cars, solar panels and heat pumps to ECO skincare, nappies and wipes. There will be something to help everyone to think about a change they can make – big or small – to make Uckfield a greener town.
Councillor Karen Bedwell explained: “We hope this event will help inform people about the small changes they can make which, together, will make a big difference to our environment. We hope this event will be the first of many ways in which we can help to improve the effects of climate change for future generations both locally and nationally.”
