Mims Davies MP is thrilled to announce the official opening of the temporary banking hub in Uckfield which has opened today on the High Street for residents.
This follows the brilliant news of a temporary banking hub in East Grinstead which Mims organised countless meetings and site visits for to ensure it happened and launched for local residents.
People in East Grinstead, Uckfield, and the surrounding villages who would like face to face banking support will receive the extra help and advice they need from the team, and no matter their bank, can access the hub any day of the week.
Mims Davies MP said:
“I am thrilled to share that the Uckfield temporary Banking Hub officially opened its doors this morning at 9am.
Wealden Volunteering, 79 High Street, Uckfield TN22 1AS
The hub is open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm for counter services, with the following community banker schedule:
• Monday – Santander
• Tuesday – Barclays
• Wednesday – HSBC
• Thursday – Natwest
• Friday – Lloyds
This is of course excellent news for local residents in Uckfield and the surrounding villages
I'm delighted to see access to face to face banking support restored in the town for our more elderly and vulnerable residents in particular.
I will continue to keep residents updated on a permanent home for the Banking Hub.”
