Community representatives, swimming pool users and supporters, councillors and dignitaries came together on Saturday for the opening of Ringmer Swimming Pool.
Joyce Wiles and Angela Glaysher, who were part of the original fundraising team that saw the pool built in 1981, cut the ceremonial ribbon and continue to champion the value and benefits of the facility. Lewes District Council is now responsible for the operation of the pool with Wave Active running the facility day-to-day.
