The next major piece of work is scheduled for early August.
Following the fitting of new stocks (which fix the sweeps to the windmill) on 21 June, the sweeps (sails) are due to be fitted to the new stocks on Wednesday 2 August.
Work is expected to take all day and once complete the windmill should return to its former state.
Weather issues may delay the work, but Uckfield & District Preservation Society have their fingers crossed!
