Uckfield’s residents are invited to attend one of three public drop-in sessions at the Civic Centre next week, to find out more about the Uckfield Neighbourhood Plan and its progress
The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group consisting of local residents and local Town Councillors will be presenting their work on a number of draft documents required in the development of a Neighbourhood Plan for Uckfield.
These public drop-in sessions will enable local residents to check in on the work the group has completed so far. The group are keen to hear what they’ve got right, what they’ve missed and what local knowledge residents can feed into the draft documents.
The public drop-in sessions will take place in the Ashdown Room, of the Civic Centre on:
Wednesday 11 May 2022: 5.00pm – 7.00pm
Thursday 12 May 2022: 10.30am – 1.00pm
Saturday 14 May 2022: 10.30am – 1.00pm
The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group will be looking for feedback on:
- The character assessment and area profiles of Uckfield;
- The views document capturing key views looking out of Uckfield;
- Local green spaces (important green spaces that are not already designated);
- The draft policies that will form Uckfield’s draft Neighbourhood Plan;
The Town Clerk will be on Ashdown Radio Monday 9th May at 11am discussing this
