The festive season can be a tender time for many. We invite you to two meaningful gatherings to remember and reflect on the love we have for those we hold forever in our hearts.
Little Lights Memorial Service, Wednesday 3 December at 4pm
A gentle space to remember and honour the precious lives, held forever in our hearts.
Join us for the Little Lights Memorial Service, created especially for parents and families who have experienced the loss of a baby or child.
In partnership with Sands - baby loss charity, this service offers a time of reflection, comfort, and remembrance. Led by celebrant Emma Sewell-Hunter, the gathering will include an opportunity to place a wooden bauble on the memorial tree, a simple act of love and remembrance.
Service of Remembrance, Wednesday 10 December at 4pm
A heartfelt Christmas service to honour loved ones led by Celebrant Steve Isted.
Join us at Eastbourne Crematorium for traditional carol singing with Eastbourne Concentus Choir, and take a moment to place a personalised message or bauble on our remembrance tree, a gentle tribute to those we hold dear.
If you would like to include a photo of your loved one in the service, please send it, along with their name, to crematorium@lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk by Monday 1st December 2025.
Light refreshments will be served after both services, offering a chance to connect and reflect together.
If you would like to attend either event, please let us know by emailing; crematorium@lewes-eastbourne.gov.uk or calling 01323 761093.
