Sussex Cricket have announced that Jaydev Unadkat has signed a new two year deal

The 32 year old having first joined the team back in 2023, and played a crucial role during the last five matches to help secure promotion back to Division 1 of the County Championship. 

In local football, and it's a big tie for Lewes, as the current league leaders host second placed Billericay Town, with the visitors still unbeaten after nine games in the division, and is set to be a crucial match at the Dripping Pan

Meanwhile, Crowborough Athletic look to maintain their push up the table as they welcome Midhurst & Ease, as AFC Uckfield Town play at home to second in their division Dorking Wanderers B, with Jarvis Brook aiming to keep their good form going away to bottom of the league Brighton Electricity.

In the Mid Sussex Leagues, and more cup action for our sides, as Ridgewood will host Hollington United in the SCFA Intermediate Cup, with Rotherfield facing TD Shipley in the same competition.

Back to league action now, where Barcombe play at home to Welcroft Park Rangers, as second placed Buxted host Ridgewood 2nd’s, while Nutley welcome Eastbourne Athletic.

Finally in women’s rugby, tomorrow’s fixtures sees Heathfield & Waldron visit Medway, while Uckfield will host second in their division the Seaford Scarlets.
