The Veolia employees are planning four weeks of walkouts following the rejection of a pay offer.
Staff are angry with the 'low-ball' pay offer received and also complain of the 'appalling approach to negotiations'.
Negotiations have been ongoing since February by staff at Veolia's Energy Recovery Facility in Newhaven.
Workers at a Newhaven incinerator plant are to take strike action this winter due to the poor pay offer from their employer.
At talks facilitated by Acas, the Unite Union also reports 'childlike' behaviour by Veolia's negotiating team with refusal to shake hands or say goodbye at the end of discussions.
Unite general secretary Sharon Graham said: "Yet again, workers asking for something reasonable are being met by Veolia who is treating them with contempt.
Our members simply want a pay increase that takes account of the current cost of living crisis and gives them security to pay bills and put food on the table.
Strikes are planned for 10-14 November, 15-19 December, 12-16 January and 9-13 February.
