The new indie horror film Harbinger is premiering at the Hailsham Pavilion in East Sussex
The special screening takes place on Saturday, 8th August 2026, giving horror fans a chance to view the movie two days before its wider public release.
The Film: Harbinger
Produced by Shogun Films, the movie was shot locally in a haunted house setting just outside Hailsham in Polegate.
The Plot: The story follows Julia, the sole survivor of a satanic serial killer's rampage. She is lured back to the killer's property for a ghost-hunting reality television show.
- The Twist: Inside the house, the TV crew discovers a vintage fairground fortune-telling machine that is possessed by the serial killer's spirit.
- The Team: The project is spearheaded by Sussex filmmaker Jonathan Sothcott and actress Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott.
The Venue: Hailsham Pavilion
The film's producers have highly praised the historic Hailsham Pavilion, describing it as a "beautiful" theater and the "real heart of the community".
