TICKETS are now on sale for Eastbourne Pride 2025. The date for the event is Saturday July 19th.
The organisers of the event are keen to point out that there is no funding from Eastbourne Borough Council – it is self-financing event.
It is also fully inclusive, meaning that families with children, and even well-behaved pets are welcome. This year the admission charge has been dropped for children aged 16 or under when accompanied by an adult, to further support families that attend.
The parade starts from 10am at Eastbourne Pier and then onto Princes Park for nine hours of fun and entertainment.
Michael Shepherd, People Advisor at Brewers, has come on board this year as one of the Trustees.
He said: “There is a general impression that we are funded by the council – we are not.
“That’s why we are so grateful to our sponsors, and I am very proud that my employer Brewers is a sponsor for 2025.
“There are others, including the wonderful Da Vinci Hotel on Howard Square, but we do need more so if you are interested, please reach out to us.
“Many of our stalls and pitches are booked. There is still space left, you need to be quick though. It’s going to be a great day, and believe me there is a lot of work done by a group of volunteers to make this all happen.”
