Plans to convert a 19th century railway signal box into a micro-pub have been approved.
Wealden District Council has granted permission for the conversion of the structure at Uckfield railway station.
The signal box, which has stood in the town centre for around 150 years, was originally used to control a level crossing and later served as a taxi office.
It has stood empty for several years.
The proposal was submitted by local brewery, Three Acre, a local craft beer maker, who are situated on the outskirts of Uckfield.
The brewery intends to lease the building from Uckfield Town Council, which currently owns it.
