Uckfield's TG Jones & Post Office set for closure

The main Uckfield Post Office branch located inside the TG Jones / WHSmith Local store at 33 High Street is planned for closure.

This decision follows news that the host retail store, TG Jones, intends to close down its High Street shop. Local representatives and the Uckfield Chamber of Commerce have raised urgent concerns regarding the impact this will have on the community, particularly because a planned permanent Banking Hub at 15 High Street will only provide banking counter services and will not offer postal services.
