Weekend Sporting Preview

AFC Uckfield Town will be looking to make it back-to-back wins tomorrow afternoon, when they entertain old rivals Peacehaven and Telscombe.

Following their midweek cup win, Crowborough Athletic return to league action tomorrow, but they’ll face the sternest of tests, as they visit league leaders Newhaven.

In the Mid Sussex League, Ridgewood are away to Peacehaven and Telscombe Reserves.  Fletching are at home to Portslade Athletic, while Barcombe entertain Lectern Lights and Maresfield host Plumpton.  Elsewhere, there are away fixtures for Nutley and Hartfield.

In cup matches, Jarvis Brook go to AFC Ringmer, and Rotherfield visit Battle Town.

In the Isthmian Premier Division, Lewes continue to press for the play-offs tomorrow with a trip to third-placed Hornchurch.

After their big cup win last weekend, Lewes’s ladies are back in league action on Sunday lunchtime, as they host Sunderland.

Brighton’s men’s team also return to league action tomorrow, as they welcome West Ham to the Amex Stadium.

In ocal rugby, Uckfield face one of their stiffest tests of the season, as they host league leaders Eastbourne, who have lost only one game out of 16.  Meanwhile, Crowborough will be aiming to record a fourth successive win, as they entertain Folkestone.
