And in a cup match, Fletching beat Ridgewood Reserves two-one.
In the Isthmian Premier Division, there was a good win for Lewes, who beat Haringey Borough two-one.
But there was defeat yesterday for Lewes’s ladies, who lost by the only goal at home to Crystal Palace. Elsewhere, Brighton’s ladies were beaten three-one at Manchester City.
In local rugby union, Uckfield went down to local rivals East Grinstead by 22 points to 13. And there was defeat too for Crowborough, who lost by 14 points for five.
