Work to prepare the Hindsland site for the planned Polegate and Willingdon Medical Centre will begin on 22 October.
The project will bring Downlands and Manor Park GP practices together in a modern, purpose-built facility designed to meet current NHS standards and support the future primary care needs of the growing local community.
Neilcott Construction will begin setting up the site, between Polegate and Willingdon, for the construction phase on 22 October. Minor groundworks, final measurements and checks to utility connections installed as part of the neighbouring housing development will follow from 26 October. The work is expected to continue into November.
This is an early phase of work ahead of the main construction programme, expected to begin at the end of November.
