Eastbourne’s annual Christmas Day Concert will return this year, bringing free festive cheer to residents and visitors alike.
The long-standing tradition, dating back to 1935, will take place at the Wish Tower Slopes, due to essential winter maintenance works at the usual Bandstand venue.
Performed by Eastbourne Silver Band from 10.30am to 12 noon, the concert is an annual highlight in the festive calendar for both Eastbourne residents and the many hotel guests celebrating Christmas in the town.
In what has become a staple pre-Christmas dinner treat for many, revellers can look forward to the usual mix of traditional carols, festive classics and family favourites, all in a stunning seafront setting.
The festive fun will continue into Boxing Day with Long Man Morris dancers performing on the Wish Tower Slopes from 10.30-11.30am, bringing musical merriment to many.
The Christmas Day Concert starts at 10.30am on the Wish Tower Slopes and is free to attend with standing room only and no ticket required.
