Strikes by Gatwick ICTS baggage screeners have been suspended due to an improved pay offer.
Unite, the UK’s leading union, will be balloting the workers on the new offer over the coming days.
Strike action scheduled from 22 August to 26 August will not take place.
If the offer is rejected, strike action from 29 August to 2 September will go ahead.
Unite regional officer Ben Davis said: “Following an improved offer from ICTS, Unite has suspended strikes in order to ballot its members.”
