The woman was found injured in Victoria Park on Sunday evening (27 November).
The woman in her 20s had a head injury and was found at around 9.30pm. She was treated in hospital, with her injuries not considered life-threatening.
Sussex Police have launched an investigation and are urging anybody who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact them online or call 101, quoting serial 1171 of 27/11.
