A CHARITY which has made a real impact since moving into Eastbourne 15 months ago is staging a Dinner for friends and supporters at The View Hotel.
SASBAH - The Sussex Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus - has always enjoyed a strong presence locally.
It supports around 1000 people across Sussex with disabilities, and at Christmas 2024 it moved from
Gun Hill to The JPK Centre in Old Town.
Now SASBAH is staging a Charity Dinner on Saturday May 16 from 7pm - and tickets are on sale.
There is a three-course dinner, entertainment, disco and charity raffle. We are pleased to announce that this year the wonderful Helen Ward-Jackson will be performing on the evening.
Chief Executive Rom Sanglaji said: "We are very much a charity covering the whole of Sussex, and we have staff in both West and East.
"We have made Eastbourne our home, and we are thriving being based in Church Street.
"It is the perfect premises for us and allows us to do so much more than we were previously able to.
"We hold a Charity Dinner each year, as much for awareness as raising money, which of course we always need to.
"It is also a chance to thank everyone involved in SASBAH for making our charity so special, and our people are truly very special.
"We would like to see as many people as possible at the Dinner, and we invite people to book tickets for what will be a relaxed and very friendly evening."
The dress code is smart/casual, and tickets are £40 per head or £360 for a table of 10.
