Ashdown Radio are delighted to announce that we have signed up as a St Wilfrid's Hospice corporate partner.
The station provides extensive on-air and online promotion to help the hospice reach its vital fundraising goals.
We will proudly be supporting the hospice at our Ashdown Radio events over the coming year, including our Spring Fair, Business Lunches and Christmas Fair later this year. Alongside this, Ryan Millns will continuing to support the hospice at there own events.

Key Partnership Activities:-
- Rainbow Run 2026: Ashdown Radio is sponsoring the purple paint station for the 5km fun run.
- Event Hosting: The station's Breakfast show host and director, Ryan Millns, is the regular compere for major hospice events, including the Rainbow Run and the Starlight Stroll.
- The Great St Wilfrid's Quiz: Ryan Millns also recently hosted the Quiz Night Final at the hospice in February 2026 and will be proudly supporting the next phase of the Quiz Campaign!
- Awards Ceremony: Ryan Millns will once again be presenting alongside St Wilfrid's Hospice CEO Colin Twomey, the St Wilfrid's Charity Champion Awards at the Hydro Hotel, where he was also recognised with a Highly Commended award for his years of fundraising efforts in 2025.
Background and Impact:-
The partnership is deeply personal for the station; Ryan Millns has previously been under the care of the hospice team while managing a rare auto-immune condition. Through initiatives like "The Biggest Breakfast Show Ever" marathon broadcast, the station has helped raise thousands of pounds for the hospice.
This support is critical as St Wilfrid's Hospice must raise approximately 70% of its funding from the local community to maintain free care for patients in Eastbourne, Hailsham, Uckfield, and surrounding areas.
