It's on 18th-19th and 25th-26th March
Visit Lewes is delighted to announce the second Walk This Way, a series of themed walks across the district over two consecutive weekends at the end of March 2023.
With a huge variety of guided walks, there will be something for everyone to enjoy, from scent and interactive art walks to Sussex folklore adventures and immersive history tours. The programme takes in the whole district with town, coastal and country walks, most of which are suitable for all ages and accessibility levels.
“After a successful first year, we’re delighted to bring back our carefully curated programme of walks which we hope will appeal to our diverse and rich community”.
Helen Browning Smith, Tourism and Arts Manager, Visit Lewes.
Hundreds of residents are expected to take part in this year’s Walk This Way, enjoying the positive health impacts of walking whilst learning more of the fascinating stories of Lewes and its surrounding towns and countryside.
The full programme and booking information will be available on the Visit Lewes website and a printed programme will be available at sites across the district from the beginning of March. Walks will be charged at £5 and free for under 12s. Numbers will be limited and offered on a first come first served basis.
