Isfield had a four-wicket victory at home to Ringmer, while Newick beat East Dean and Friston by three wickets and Nutley defeated Hellingly’s second team by eight wickets, there were also wins for Rotherfield, Fletching and Blackboys.
A combination of rain delays and some stubborn late order resistance on yesterday’s final day meant that Sussex’s county team had to settle for a draw in their latest Championship match at Leicestershire.
