The work on Southview Drive in Uckfield will see the current buildings demolished and the area redeveloped.
20 affordable, carbon zero ready homes are planned at the development, along with 18 rental properties and 2 homes for purchase on a shared ownership basis.
Two of the homes will be suitable for wheelchair users and the remaining properties built to accessible standards. Each home will also be provided with an electric vehicle charging point.
Planning approval was received in October 2022, work is expected to start in the Spring with a completion estimate of autumn 2024.
