Ashdown Radio are proudly sponsoring the purple paint station at this year's Rainbow Run

The event takes place on Saturday 6th June and will be hosted by Ashdown Radio's Ryan Millns

Ashdown Radio is a long-standing partner and supporter of the St Wilfrid’s Hospice Rainbow Run in Hailsham.

The headline event sponsor this year are Barwells Solicitors, who have offices based in Eastbourne, Hailsham, Seaford, Newhaven & Peacehaven.  

Key Involvement for 2025/2026:-

• Event Hosting: Ashdown Radio's Ryan Millns is the regular host and compere for the event, responsible for warming up the crowds and starting the race.
• Media Partnership: The station extensively promotes the Rainbow Run on air and online.

• Next Event: Saturday, 6th June 2026 (Registration is already open).
• Location: Nash Street Farm, near Hailsham, BN27 4AB.
• Format: A 5km fun run featuring 7 powder paint stations, 2 foam stations, and a finale Paint Party.

The Rainbow Run is a vital fundraiser for St Wilfrid’s Hospice, helping to cover the £19,000 daily running costs required to provide end-of-life care in Eastbourne and the surrounding areas.
