Eastbourne Community Awards - A massive success!

THE first ever Eastbourne Community Awards - hosted by Ashdown Radio DJ Ryan Millns - came to an end on Sunday with a special Thank You Party.

The Awards are a partnership between Coda Pharmacy - a leading online pharmaceutical company based on the Westham Business Park at Pevensey - and Bournefree Magazine.

Malayalam Restaurant, situated on Victoria Place near Eastbourne Seafront, provided a free meal for 50 people at the party.

Colin Dang, Head Pharmacist at Coda, said: "It was a marvellous lunch, and even more evidence of how successful the Awards have been.

"Coda Pharmacy is incredibly proud to have played a leading role in the first ever Eastbourne Community Awards.

"We have met some incredible people and been able to tell some incredible stories. And that's what we aim to do at Coda Pharmacy - support and when possible make a difference to people's lives.

"The Awards have had a huge positive impact on our community, and we are proud to have played our part in that."

Guests at the party included Eastbourne Mayor, Margaret Bannister, some of the winners and sponsors, and representatives from organisations who may wish to be involved in 2027.

Chris Trinh, Superintendent Pharmacist at Coda, said: "It was a very moving lunch, the energy and positivity in the restaurant was truly inspiring.

"We all want to say a huge thank you to the team at Malayalam for hosting us in such a fantastic way. Nothing was too much bother for them, and I would firmly recommend them to anybody."

Coda Pharmacy's policy is: "You have access to the healthcare you need, when you need it."
