FSH is saying goodbye to Daphne Slater and Christine Field who have completed their terms as Trustees
Goodbye also to Kathy Gore, FSH founder and interim Head of Fundraising and Management.
They are all leaving to pursue new challenges. We are all extremely grateful for their contribution over many years.
FSH welcome its new Trustees Simon Baer, a retired ENT Surgeon at the Conquest Hospital, Hastings, who lives in Ninfield in East Sussex and Andrew Hick, an accountant and former Finance Manager at Homebase for 18 years, from Danehill together with Chantal Wilson DL, former Trustee who returns and is based in Crowborough.
The Trustees have appointed Chris Lawson, a well known Uckfield businessman, former President of Uckfield Chamber of Commerce and a former Chairman of The Awards committee of the Sussex Heritage Trust as their new Head of Fundraising and Management.
Chris Lawson said “I’m highly honoured to be appointed to this most important role. Kathy Gore will be a hard act to follow but I’m pleased to say we’re not losing contact with her completely as she has agreed to oversee the handover period in an advisory role over the next few months. We have a good management committee of 14 enthusiastic people and some exciting projects planned for the future.
Chris is keen to build on the excellent work done by Kathy Gore and the team to expand the FSH supporter base to a wider and younger audience together with improving communication to supporters and members.
The registered office is also moving from West Hoathly to The Granary, Cornfords Yard, High Street, Uckfield, East Sussex TN22 1RJ. The new telephone number is 01825 764488
