Police have charged a man following two assaults at a pub in Ringmer.
Walter Doe, 33, of Keld Close, Uckfield, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and threatening a person with a blade / sharply pointed article in a public place.
It comes after police received a report of a man with a knife outside The Cock Inn on Old Uckfield Road on 7 October.
The suspect was reported to have hit one man in the face and driven at another, causing an injury to his arm, before fleeing the scene in a VW Golf.
Officers attended and carried out extensive area searches, but with no trace of the suspect.
Enquiries continued and two days later on 9 October, Doe was arrested. He has since been charged and remanded in custody to appear at court on 8 November.
