Uckfield Anderida make the short trip to take on Buxted Park’s unbeaten second team

Buxted Park’s first eleven are away to Portslade.

In the Sussex Cricket League, Crowborough host bottom-of-the-table Tunbridge Wells Borderers.  There’s a key match between Isfield and fellow promotion hopefuls Newick.  Barcombe entertain table-toppers Burgess Hill’s seconds, while Fletching are at home to Ansty’s second team and Blackboys host Barcombe’s second team.

There are away fixtures this week for Plumpton and East Chiltington, Rotherfield and Nutley.

In the T20 Blast, the Sussex Sharks are in action again this evening, when they travel to Canterbury to face Kent.  Last night, the Sharks kept alive their slim hopes of reaching the knockout stage with a 17-run victory over Surrey at the County Ground Hove.

Among the weekend’s local bowls fixtures, Uckfield visit Speldhurst on Sunday afternoon.

And finally, for local tennis fans, it’s semi-finals day today at the Eastbourne International tennis tournament.
