The popular attraction at The Waterfront in Eastbourne has closed down suddenly
Planet Golf, a popular space-themed, glow-in-the-dark golf course at The Waterfront, Sovereign Harbour has announced its ‘immediate closure’ in a statement on social media.
It comes following rising ‘operational costs’, according to a spokesperson for the business. "It is with much sadness we announce the immediate closure of Planet Golf" the spokesperson said.
“We were always a small venue and tried so hard to build into something bigger and better but sadly operational costs have just got out of control.
"Behind this business are human beings and I would personally like to thank the amazing team who have worked so hard to keep us going.”
The business, which opened in 2022, was founded by local parent Richard Bolt after he spotted a need for affordable, all-weather activites for children.
