The icy weather looks set to wreak havoc again with the weekend’s local football programme.
In scheduled fixtures, AFC Uckfield Town are due to play their final home game of the year, as they take on Little Common. Meanwhile, Crowborough Athletic are away at Bexhill United.
Also in the Southern Combination League, table-topping Jarvis Brook host Rustington.
In the Mid Sussex League, Rotherfield visit Sedlescombe Rangers. And there’s an important match for Ridgewood, who go to second-placed Crawley Devils.
Elsewhere, Newick entertain Barcombe, while Maresfield have a home clash with AFC Ringmer’s fourth team.
And there are away games this week for Hartfield and Plumpton.
In the Isthmian Premier Division, Lewes host Wingate and Finchley. Meanwhile, Lewes’s ladies team take on Bristol City this evening in the Women’s League Cup.
And in local rugby union - again weather permitting - Uckfield visit Crawley, while Crowborough are away at Heathfield and Waldron.
