In the Southern Combinations, AFC Uckfield Town continued their resurgent form with an end to end 6-4 victory over Oakwood, with Jarvis Brook enjoying a comfortable 4-1 win against Copthorne.
Over to the Mid Sussex Leagues, Rotherfield secured a tight 1-0 win against the Cuckfield Rangers, with Ridgewood beating Brighton & Sussex Medical School 3-0 to remain in third, as Barcombe defeated Willingdon Athletic 1-0, while Buxted lost 2-1 to Ringmer AFC 3rd’s.
Meanwhile, Nutley managing a remarkable 13-1 victory against the Soverign Saints 2nd’s, with six goals alone from Ellis Wright, to keep Nutley top of the league, as Newick beat bottom placed Polegate Town 2nd’s 3-1.

Over to women’s football, Lewes fell to a 2-0 loss away to Plymouth Argyle but remain in fifth place, as Eastbourne Borough continued their unbeaten league run with a commanding 4-0 win over Hastings United.
Finally in the men’s rugby, Crowborough secured a 25-7 victory against Dover, while Heathfield & Waldron suffered a 43-12 defeat by league leading Old Elthamians, as Uckfield came out on top in their clash with Worthing 3rd’s, winning 53-31.
