An inquest has opened into the death of a teenage boy who was stabbed to death outside Seaford railway station.
Joshua Ingram, a 16-year-old student from Newhaven, died after being stabbed outside Seaford station on 10 September.
Pathologist Dr Robert Chapman's initial findings gave the cause of death as a haemorrhage caused by a stab wound to the heart, the inquest in Lewes heard.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Lewes Crown Court next month.
