The exhibition will allow members of the public and local sports club to find out more about the plans from Wealden District Council.
The Sports Hub, to be located at Knights Farm in Hellingly, includes proposals for two full size 3G floodlit football pitches, four dual use floodlit tennis / netball courts, two padel tennis courts along with a walking and cycle route, BMX Pump track, skate park, children’s play area, outdoor tennis tables, outdoor gym equipment and a community café.
The Exhibition will be held at Wealden District Council's offices on VIcarage Lane in Hailsham on Thursday 16 and Friday 17 March from 3pm to 7pm and Saturday 18 March from 10am to 2pm. Council officers will be on hand to answer any questions.
Councillor Philip Lunn, Wealden District Council’s portfolio holder for Leisure, said, “This will be a great opportunity for local residents to come and view the plans and discuss the project with officers involved with the development of the project.”
