FORTY-FIVE members of a Sussex charity spent the day at a very special farm in Tonbridge, Kent.
Princess Christian’s Farm is a life skills training facility, supporting people with a learning and/or physical disability.
The aim is for individuals to learn new skills both on the farm and in all aspects of daily living - and it's run by KASBAH – a charity that supports people with disabilities.
Now, a large group from SASBAH visited the Farm, and CEO Rom Sanglaji said they all had an amazing day.
Rom said: "I am thrilled that we work with our colleagues in Kent whenever possible, and this was a very successful trip.
"We provide opportunities all year round for our members to enjoy new experiences and try something different.
"This was the first time we have visited Princess Christian’s Farm but I am sure we will be going back again.
"Our members had the opportunity to have a tour of the farm and to handle some of the animals."
SASBAH - the Sussex Association of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus - moved to Eastbourne 18 months ago from its previous HQ at Gun Hill, Chiddingly.
It supports around 1000 people and their families across Sussex who may have various disabilities.
Rom said: "We are fully inclusive and a small welcoming charity which does so much to improve the lives of others."
