Uckfield's Bridge Cottage set to host a glimpse into Saxon life in Sussex

The event is taking place at Bridge Cottage, High Street, Uckfield on Saturday the 17th of May from 10AM- 3PM

The event is hosted in collaboration with Uckfield Heritage and Uckfield Bonfire and Carnival society, displaying a look at life in Saxon Sussex.

Admission is free and an opportunity to see costumes worn in the Carnival Day processions up close. It's a chance to learn more about the history of Saxon Sussex and life up until 1066 and the Battle of Hastings.

If you're interested, head down to Uckfield's Bridge Cottage on Saturday the 17th of May from 10AM- 3PM!
